Actually, looking at the action on startrek.com, everyone knew Capt. Pike was going to be in the movie and when Bruce Greenwood was cast, there was a collective sigh of relief. I didn’t see BSG - Razor; was it as great as it looked in the promos?

I was a little concerned, having read Chris Pine’s IMDB entry, that he has never carried a movie as the lead actor. However, he is starring in a movie being finished called “Bottle Shock”with Alan Rickman, Eliza Dushku, Bradley Whitford and Danny DeVito among others.

Not familiar with all the actors, but WOW — Bruce Greenwood as Christopher Pike strikes me as inspired casting. Maybe this will lure me out to (finally) see a movie in a theatre again! In the meantime, I’ll just have to be satisfied with some — at long last — new episodes of Battlestar Galactica. Who knew that such a really sucky show could be done so deliciously well?!

The cast looks good and I am happy Leonard is in it. Now we wait a year for it’s release.
