Testing BlogJet
Posted on May 17th, 2008 by Steve
I am a bit jealous. I’ve discovered a really good blog tool for Windows called BlogJet. BlogJet is everything that ecto, MarsEdit, Qumana and a whole host of others for the Mac are not. You would think that a platform that is so intent on content creation like the Mac is, would have a full featured offline blog editor. BlogJet allows you to:
- Insert pictures from your PC or Flickr
- Insert YouTube videos
- Insert Smileys
- Record your voice and insert the file in the blog
- Attach Files
- It has a real auto replace (if I type something that I want to be a link, BlogJet will do it automatically)
The only thing it doesn’t do is live blog preview, like Windows Live Writer. I will also check out LiveJournal support for the LJers out there.
As always, more extensive testing is needed, but so far, it looks good.

Hopefully some programming genius will create a good tool for the mac. I will wait for that day since I lack the skills.
