Why in the hell do I do these? Because I care, bokay?
In any event, I have now found online editor nirvana. Having discovered a plugin that turns the native Wordpress tag system into Technorati tags, I feel I can now blog from the native editor comfortably enough. The plugins I have are Simple Tags, and WP Tags to Technorati.
I also have word processing tools on the Wordpress editor that makes it possible to embed pictures, movies, sounds, etc. I will be doing more of that from now on.
I’ve not given up on ecto entirely. Now that Infinite Sushi has been purchased by a larger interest, I expect to see development ramped up and a new version of the 3.0 beta to be out soon.

Feeling very blonde as I giddily laugh and clap my hands while jumping up and down.
In other words, it sounds good. Sorry to hear about the brown out. Its so important for the hoi polloi in North Hollywood to cut back on unnecessary appliances, such as air conditioners on a hot day, to make sure that those Bel Air and Beverly Hills families will be able to cool their 23 rooms while they are out of town vacationing. Wouldn’t want them to come back to a warm house, now would we, lol. We just had a 23,000 acre a few miles away here (the Humboldt fire, so called as it started next to Humboldt Road). Smelled like BBQ for three days. 75 homes burned. Very, very luckily for me, it burned in the opposite direction. Paradise had fun: 9,000 people panicing and trying to stream out of two 2-lane highways. It all seems contained now. Dry and hot. Please Iowa: we will take that extra water, north or south! Drop it any old place. Thank you.
I don’t expect you guys to get it. Point by point, the inline editor that comes with Wordpress is not exactly brimming with features. If you know HTML, that is better, but I have added plugins that allow me to write, notify, and promote the blog. ecto, which is an offline blog editor, is good for that, and in fact, I bought ecto. However, I don’t keep it on my computer at work. So, I was hoping to use the blog editor in Wordpress, which is better now, at work. Thanks to add ons (plugins) I can do that.
Technorati is a tag aggregator. Tags are the keywords that I add to posts, which can be used to search for other posts on my blog. This system is not so great; suppose you want to see what some other blogger said about the thing I was writing about, and it’s a related subject but that author never heard of my site. That is what Technorati tags are for. They help other people who wouldn’t normally look at other blogs to do just that. The WP Tags to Technorati plugin transforms the Wordpress tags I add to posts into Technorati tags. This helps to promote the blog.
I hope that explains it. We just had a brown out here, so this is the second version of this comment.
Lets see . . . I understand the verbs, understand the nouns and, because you write in a clear manner, Steve, I can almost understand all of the above message ; ).
I concur and agree with Captain Serek.
So help me Goddess, amen.
As long as it works and you are happy, I support it 100%.
