More Livejournal…
I kind of like Livejournal. I even have an account there, as many of you (all three of you) who follow this blog know. However, it is a bit of a problem now…
I was trying to read my journal. I changed over to the new interface that everyone is going to have to adopt come later this month, and already, I don’t like it. It is too big, it is no more intuitive than the old interface and to top it off, it is done in cascading style sheets so that they can run ads in a layer right on top of your content. I don’t mind ads, it keeps stuff free, but can’t they find a better place to run the ads rather than RIGHT ON TOP of the new content?
I doubt I will be posting there anytime in the near future. I have that account so I can read other people’s live journals and make comments. Other than that, look to this entity for my opinions in the future.
