You Want Fries With That?
Today the President went up in front of the American people and lied thru his teeth again. Saying that the US needs "comprehensive immigration reform."
Let me clue you in Mr. Man, just do the job you usurped. There are plenty of immigration laws on the books right now that you can enforce. Congress doesn't have to get anymore creative.
Let's call comprehensive reform what it is, shall we? A Newspeak term for "guest worker program." George's corporate cronies would really like it if cheap labor were made legal in this country. That way, the hard work would get done, and they only have to pay the bare minimum; it won't be minimum wage, however. I surmise that if George had his way, a guest worker would only be entitled to so much under the law, seeing as how they aren't true citizens. Oh, well. It doesn't matter, once this policy is put into place, let the downsizing begin!
I agree, fortunately my revenge, although minor, is sweet. From what I heard from talking to those in the department, I set the bar very high and no one is achieving that.
I only point that out because I want everyone to know who we’re dealing with. It is the same situation as your lay off from Circuit City, Jim. There is no career path there. You make them gobs of money, they pay you stinky wages, then they discard you like a used Kleenex. Too much power vested into corporations.
The president has been lying since he took office, why should today or any other day be different.
