Mac OS X Tiger

Great Artists SHIP!!
Or something like that. In any event, Apple has come out with OS X 10.4 nicknamed “Tiger.” It isn’t a codename anymore when everyone and their sister knows what the codename is.
There are many features and updates; specifically, a new BSD core, and it should be speedier on slower G4’s (my 700 MHz eMac now qualifies in this group). I am hoping for some speed. I don’t know if it is because I updated to 10.3.8 and got ripped but my eMac has not been itself since (I have gone ahead and upgraded to 10.3.9).
Anyway, it came out on my unlucky birthday and here I am with no money to get it, so I am going to try for it on the 5/06. Wish me luck.
