Oppressive Weather

The Labor Day weekend in Southern California saw some record high temeratures. It got up to 107° Fahrenheit in some parts of the San Fernando Valley, with a very high humidity. The heat was so stifling, it caused almost 40,000 Southern California Edison and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power customers to run their air conditioning at peak times causing a massive black out in the Downey area.

This was serious. Some say this is what we will be able to expect in the future as the norm.
