Joe Biden for Prez…
In the debate, he was the clear winner, no question in my mind. Since Hilary is going to get the nomination, however, he may have been lobbying for SecState. No finer choice. He certainly knows that the real threat in the middle east is not Iran but a nuclear capable, missile launching Pakistan.
Let me put it in perspective for you. We are going to pin our attack of Iran on the fact that they may (keyword, may) have 2.6 kilograms (a little over 5 pounds) of enriched uranium. Pakistan, on the other hand has in its possession hundreds of kilograms of enriched uranium, the facilities to refine it, and the infrastructure to deliver it. Pakistan is run by former general, now “president” Pervez Musharraf, who took over the country in 1999 in a coup d’etat. He has harbored and financed members of al qaida, and may be protecting Usama bin Laden near the Pakistani/Afghan border. If we were going to attack anyone preemptively in the middle east (and I’m not saying we should have even considered it in any case), it should have been Pakistan.
But The Decider and his Dark Lord of the Sith (VP Dick Cheney, an insult to DLOTS everywhere) determined through deduction and geometric logic, that a duplicate key to the ward room icebox did exist, and they would have… sorry, I was channeling Captain Queeg from The Caine Mutiny. They determined that attacking Iraq was not only in the US’ best interest, it also fit the neocon agenda.
Joe Biden laid all of this out for the people watching the debate in such clear cut, easy to understand language, and was so presidential that… well, we know the reality. Hil will get the nod of the party. It is inevitable. In a battle of wits between her and Rotten Rudy Giuliani, Hil has more in her little finger, than Rotten has in his whole body. According to Joe only three things ever erupt from Rotten’s mouth; “…a noun, a verb and 9/11.” Joe called him the “least qualified candidate for president since (The Decider).” If Hil is smart, Joe for Secretary of State.
